At the invitation of a late November wind, all the red and yellow and brown and orange leaves leap up from their passive acceptance of anticipated decay and instead fly tumbling point over point in great rivers of confetti color down the street as if to say "hurray, hurray, we're off to join the circus! See, already we are dressed to run away! So long tree, so long lawn, good by now away we fly on a journey we didn't expect to see!" Watching the flow of liberation, I thought, "Well, surprising things can happen once we let go." - Facebook Status posting 11/30/11
